At Alms and Hill, we don’t ask you to build your house around our product. We design each and every piece for the structure itself, exactly as YOU envisioned it.

Granted our high-end, state-of-the-art mill is responsible for that end result. But we all know that the real construction begins with the shop drawings. Mike Hill, who has developed drawing methods far superior to others in the industry, generates each product drawing. All plans, elevations and details are clearly illustrated, easily understood and are exact to scale. These drawings can also be reduced and faxed directly from our computer, to ensure maximum clarity to everyone involved – your architect, designers, field personnel and your clients.

At the point of sign-off, your product is then built to exact specification and design in our 13,000-square-foot on-premise mill, in full-time operation for more than 40 years.

Back in the early 1970s, Alms & Hill began fielding requests for a variety of custom creations well beyond the one-of-a-kind cabinets we were inventing. We knew our original 1969 office and “plant” wasn’t going to be sufficient, so we expanded in 1978, then moved to our current location in 1983 to accommodate a larger, onsite mill.

We continue to seek out the kind of equipment and machinery that only caters to the most discriminating designer. And, to this day, our mill is busy – day-in and day-out – with bringing visionary expressions into solid reality.
